Christopher Glein Joins as Carnegie Fellow

Christopher Glein arrived August 1 to join the Geophysical Laboratory as a new Carnegie Fellow working with GeorgeCody.He will be working on research in organic geochemistry.

Christopher received his B.S. in chemistry from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2006, and his Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from Arizona State University, Tempe in 2012.  His research interests include mechanisms of organic reations in hydrothermal fluids, mineral catlysis of organic reations, chemistry leading to origins of life on Earth, and present and past geochemical processes on icy mooons.
