Dr, Andrew Steele will deliver the introduction to a television documentary about the Arctic Mars Analogue Svalbard Expedition (AMASE). An international team of scientists are designing devices and techniques to identify the building blocks of life in Mars. Their test ground is Svalbard, a remote Norwegian island with geology similar to the red planet. Producers are Gry Karstad and Staale Hansen.
